Start to define which processes will be outlined and mapped in the SOP maual.
While you might not map every last process, it is important to establish the most fundamental and important ones.
In the "Distribution" section, you could have several core processes that include "Getting the Order," "Packaging for Delivery," "Shipping" and "Follow-Up."Organize the SOP manual with a table of contents, and clearly list each procedure in a bold title header.
You might even include tabs for team members to easily flip through the manual, to help them locate pertinent SOPs in their departments.
Develop a comprehensive template based on the mapped process.
If you need to collect specific information at the client intake, make sure the template has all required information laid out succinctly.
It becomes the backbone for the personality of the organization.
